A food, not a medicine

Powder Greens is a food. It is not a medicine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, or managing a health condition, talk to your doctor before making changes to your diet.

What we claim, and what we do not

What we assert about the product is what is in it, how much you get and how to use it: a greens blend made from dried fruits, vegetables and greens; a 240g tub holding 30 servings; one scoop mixed with 8 oz or more of water, juice or a smoothie.

That is the whole list. We do not claim the powder improves immunity, energy, digestion, weight or any other health outcome. There is no guarantee of a health advantage from any superfood powder, ours included, and the research on the category is limited; our own homepage says so. Treat any claim made in the packaging or advertising of this category, including ours, with some healthy skepticism. If you find wording on this site that goes further than the claims above, it is a mistake and we would like to know about it.

Whole food comes first

A varied diet built around whole foods is the foundation. A greens powder is a convenient way to add more plant food to a busy day; it is not a replacement for fresh fruit and vegetables, and eating well matters more than any supplement. Superfood powders are sold as food supplements, which means they receive limited regulatory oversight and are not assessed for safety and effectiveness before sale the way a medicine is.

Nothing here is medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical or health advice, including the guides and articles. Questions about health conditions, medication interactions, pregnancy or children belong with your doctor, not with a shop.

Photographs and packaging

Product photographs are of the product being sold, not a stand-in. Colour reproduction varies between screens, and packaging may vary slightly from what is photographed.

Statements about the law

Where this site refers to the law, including the implied warranties of the provincial Sale of Goods Acts, the FTC's rules on shipping times, or state consumer protection and privacy laws, that is general information rather than legal advice. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the law of your state, which applies to everything we sell.
